Our story started out far away from the ocean in a different world and as our relationship grew so did our love for the ocean and everything in it. After being together for eight years we decided that it was time to share the knowledge we have acquired through traveling and photographing the world together and this is how we came up with Ocean Nomads.
He was always drawn to photography but other things were always in the way until one day he decided to buy an underwater camera, pack his bags and go to an adventure of a lifetime working on a liveaboard boat in Thailand.
Although it was very rewarding to learn everything on his own without anyone to help (not even any internet connection) it was also very frustrating and a very slow process to teach himself from trial and error. He has made every single mistake and because of this he always does his best to teach his students to not make any of them and this way their learning curve is a lot faster than his was.

Lupe is our super friendly captain that knows where all the cool creatures and best reefs are but most importantly he takes care of us while we are onboard his boat.
She might end up being your favorite person while you are here due to the amazing homemade meals she cooks for us and although her English isn’t great everyone end up having long conversations with her learning a lot of Spanish.
